I’ve had many cameras throughout my life but I’ll never forget the day I had my first camera to call my own. During my childhood, my family and I went on camping trips and we stopped at many garage sales along the way. One day, a small, bright orange Fuji film camera stood out and when we were back on the road, I had my very first camera to play and explore the world with.

Though my family couldn’t afford the 110 film at the time, I didn’t care that I had an empty camera. That didn’t stop me from “taking” photos with my energetic imagination. I made the best with what I had and to this day, I’m happy and grateful there was no film in that camera. Over time, I bought some 110 film for it and have been snapping photographs since.

My strong interest and passion in visual arts later led me to study fine art painting and photography at OCAD University. I love using my creativity to capture a unique vision by composing moments and freezing time to tell a captivating story.

My goal is to not only create beautiful photographs that show my clients at their best, but to create treasured and lasting memories that are more than just quick snapshots. I strive to find beauty within imperfections and to showcase an individual’s uniqueness.

Whether I am photographing a portrait or an event, I begin each session with a fresh perspective, in the hopes of capturing an exceptional reflection of personality and relationship dynamics. I love shooting candid moments that showcase natural expressions of subjects in their most authentic form…especially those that are camera shy.
